Pure Kent 

We have farmed near Staplehurst since 1953,  moving from Herefordshire to grow more hops. The farm now specialises in arable farming, growing crops in four locations around Maidstone. The main crops we grow are wheat, oilseed rape, barley, oats, beans and linseed.  We also grow a wide variety of crops to benefit the soil, underneath the plants to be harvested, or between crops.  We try to have living roots in the soil throughout the year, to increase carbon content.  This farming method is part of Regenerative Agriculture. #RegenAg.  We are proud of how we farm and the food we produce and we farm to a high environmental standard.  Have a look at Farm News to find out more.

In 2017, we had the great honour of winning the South East Farmer Magazine Farming Family Business of the Year, and we were Highly Commended in the Kent Countryside Awards at the Taste of Kent Awards 2018.
